For some reason I was feeling extremely negative about going training today, and on reflection I think it was because I was afraid of the cardio. After I completed the bench press and lunging sets, enough environmental factors amplified my head to the point I had to leave, making the decision to do my cardio on a different quieter day. I still expect to be afraid of doing the cardio even when it is quiet, but I think for my first attempt at the increased duration... I need there to be less people (as far as my head is concerned, less people to see me being terrible).
I’m Rachel, member of Crossfit gym Priority 6, challenging myself to new extremes and as far from my ‘comfort zone’ as possible. I’ve signed up to The OC Method’s 12 week Body Composition, this blog will keep track of progress, as well as a reference tool for training, nutrition, photos, measurements, session plans and so forth. I can’t wait to find out how far I can push myself, physically and mentally, hopefully smashing a few psychological barriers in the process.
