I’m Rachel, member of Crossfit gym Priority 6, challenging myself to new extremes and as far from my ‘comfort zone’ as possible. I’ve signed up to The OC Method’s 12 week Body Composition, this blog will keep track of progress, as well as a reference tool for training, nutrition, photos, measurements, session plans and so forth. I can’t wait to find out how far I can push myself, physically and mentally, hopefully smashing a few psychological barriers in the process.

DAY 42 - WEEK 6 WEIGH IN
It was quite an amazing moment when I did my Monday morning weigh in to update Coach OC with - after not having my glasses on the first time and needing another check when I was more awake, I was dead on 76kg, which meant I'd lost almost 1kg since last week. The amazing moment realising that this is now the lightest I've been since I was 16 years old and it really surprised me. I had to take a photo of the moment and send it to OC who thought it was brilliant, really love his encouragement
:-) I felt like I'd actually achieved something quite significant, an impossible becoming possible...
Once OC measured me in the evening with those scary metal pinchers, we also found out I've lost 5.2% body fat since week 1, already hitting the fat% goal I set myself at the beginning of bodycomp of 15%. With another 6 weeks to go, if I can keep up losing about 1% a week, I could perhaps even hit the 10% mark - which I would have said was ridiculous and impossible at the start, but now I can't help but eye it up as a new goal! Why the hell not, I'm going all in here... lets shoot for 10 (I might even see those abs too if I'm lucky - they're already on the verge of peaking a head out or two) :-)
